September in review

I can't believe it's been almost a month since posting in here....Kaitlyn, I know you're probably upset about that. Anyway, it has been a busy month. Clint is finally home from Kuwait and has now taken on more of a managing type role (he has employees:). Yes, he will still have to travel and all, but he won't be the project engineer starting up all the new projects. Needless to say, I am pleased with this so far. Stay tuned.
After he got back, we were able to go on a mini pre-baby vacation to Montreal. Needless to say, I am a fraction of my old self when it comes to being in shape. Clint needed to practically pull me when we were going uphill the first day or so, or I probably would have started going backwards...The views of the city from Mount Royal Park were wonderful, and we even took a day to drive along the wine route and take some samples (sips only for me) of ice wines and ice ciders. One of the towns was having an art festival, so we stopped there as well. It was strange being so close to the US and listening to everyone speak French. I think it made Clint kind of uncomfortable. Either that, or he was nervous about the rock that we backed into with the rental car....see, there's always a good reason to be a back seat driver...to avoid situations such as that...
I also got the chance this month to see some good friends (both at Coral's wedding shower, and then in Minneapolis at a friend's wedding and my Minne baby shower -thanks for planning that carolyn). Clint commented on what good dads he thought Matt and Joshie were and although he wouldn't dare hold any babies yet, he was very entertained by Callum and Nolan.
On the pregnancy forfront, things have been going well. Clint has finally been nice and rubbed my butt, and I have gotten reassurance via Whattoexpect.com that my endless need to drink water just about every hour is biologically sound. I'm back to the fruit and lots of water minus the nausea this time. So, here are the pictures of weeks 31 & 32 (I sort of missed week 31 - it basically looks the same as all the others, so don't worry)....
