I should almost call it October in review....

Week 34:

Week 36:

And here's a front view - and people say I'm not that big...

The past few weeks have gone by so fast. We have not gotten the nursery together and in working order, although I'm more convinced that it is for us rather than the baby...as is the case with most baby things. We had a nice time at Coral and Rob's wedding this past weekend in Milwaukee and I discovered that I can't make it all night like I could at Nicki's wedding....I think that was my last hurrah. It has been nice being off of work since a week and a half ago - I was low censused at work and then Tuesday into Wednesday there was some not so good times with the nausea and not sleeping. I think we're back in working order though and into getting stuff done. I've been having my weekly OB appointments now, and every time I'm so excited to hear her heart beat. Not that I don't know she's in there (she's quite the soccer player), but sometimes she will be sleeping and then we'll wake her up and get her going to make her heart beat faster for the midwife:) I have to say that the pregnancy massages have been hard to beat too (thanks to Sue and Carrie). Sometimes she even gets a little one too (thru my belly). She will have to be prepared for lots of those once she is here as I won an infant massage lesson in a silent auction a couple weekends ago. I've loved taking it easier and focusing on her and what I need to do to get ready for her arrival. I'm so looking forward to her birth at this point, but the time she's spending just with me has been extra special.

  1. Looking good Rebecca! I was kind of expecting to see a diaper on one of the dogs though. A little disappointed that the willing participant was a doll instead of a dog. :)

  2. She's looking bigger and lower or just changing position...
It's so cute to read how excited you are about her coming! Yay for the infant massage lesson :D

  3. Glad you are taking things a little slower and enjoying your remaining weeks. Enjoy having your baby just to yourself and not having to share her with anyone!
